Yitagesu Mergia

Yitagesu Mergia was born in Addis Ababa in 1970. He graduated from the Addis Ababa University, School of Fine Arts and Design. He participated in a number of solo and group art exhibitions at venues that include the Bulgarian Embassy, the Greek Community, the Italian Cultural Institute, Swedish School, the Alliance Éthio-Française, the National Museum, Art of Ethiopia 2014 at the Sheraton Addis, and various hotels throughout the city. His paintings are also on permanent display at the American, Egyptian and German Embassies.
