An Ethiopian artist from Addis Ababa, specializes in drawing and sculpture. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Ale School of Fine Arts and Design at Addis Ababa University (2018–2022). Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Fine Arts at Michigan State University.
Dawit's work primarily involves charcoal, plaster, and clay, focusing on figurative sculptures he describes as "raw." His notable series include "The Ship Series" (2022) and "Flux Series" (2023).
He has participated in exhibitions such as "Conglomeration," showcasing his and fellow MFA candidates' works.
