Artist Woldu Ambaye was an Ethiopian artist born in Tembien, Tigray, in 1945 E.C. He graduated from the Fine Arts School at Addis Ababa University in 1970 E.C. Throughout his career, he dedicated himself to teaching fine art in various parts of the country. He passed away in 2015 E.C.
