Tewodros Kifle

(b.1986, Ethiopia) completed his BFA (Experimental Printmaking) from Alle School of Fine Arts and Design, Addis Ababa University in 2020, and received a Diploma of Fine Art and Graphics from Entoto College of Fine Arts, Ethiopia in 2010. He started out as a graphic designer before deciding to pursue a career in the visual arts and teaching. He works across various mediums like printmaking, video, mixed media, and photography. His artworks explore the reinterpretation of ancient letterforms and socio-political, and futuristic perspectives across different timeframes. He has participated in multiple workshops and lectureships and exhibited his creations at various national and international art platforms. Currently, he is working as a visual artist and an assistant teacher at the Alle School of Fine Arts and Design, Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia.
