Sintayehu Teferi

Sintayehu Teferi is a multidisciplinary artist based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, working across painting, sculpture, photography, product design, and art activism. His practice is dedicated to using art as a bridge for social connection and cultural reflection.
He holds a BFA from the Alle School of Fine Arts and Design and a BA in Sociology from St. Mary’s University, both earned in 2018. In 2021, he completed an MA in African Studies at Addis Ababa University, further shaping his Pan-African vision and focus on themes of identity and heritage.
His work has been exhibited at prominent venues, including the African Union, the Italian Cultural Institute, Entoto Museum, Atmosphere Art Gallery, Addis Ababa University, and Hilton Addis Ababa. Through these exhibitions, he aims to spark dialogue around art’s role in social change and cultural resilience.
