Ribka Wondimagegn

Ribka Wondimagegn is an Ethiopian visual artist based in Addis Ababa. She graduated from Addis Ababa University with a specialization in painting in 2023. Her work predominantly features abstract compositions that capture the strength, resilience, and lived experiences of Ethiopian women, drawing deeply from personal and collective narratives.
Ribka has actively participated in various exhibitions, including showcases at the Ethiopian Metropolitan Art Gallery in December 2022 and the Laphto Contemporary Art Gallery in March 2024. In March 2024, she also exhibited at the World Bank Art Space in Addis Ababa.
In addition to her exhibitions, Ribka engages with the art community through residency programs. She recently participated in the Ananropaethiopic residency in Addis Ababa, expressing excitement about the experience and sharing her journey on social media platforms.
