Kibrom Seyoum

born in 1992 in the Tigray region of Ethiopia, is an interdisciplinary visual artist currently residing and working in Addis Ababa. He began his formal art education at the Tigray Art College, graduating in 2017, and later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Alle School of Fine Arts at Addis Ababa University in 2022.
Kibrom's artistic practice encompasses various mediums, including printmaking, acrylic and oil painting, as well as mixed media such as video art, photography, and found objects. His work delves into themes of identity, displacement, migration, war, and the intricate relationships between humans and their environment.
Throughout his career, Kibrom has actively participated in numerous exhibitions across Ethiopia. Notably, he collaborated with artist Dan Girma for a joint exhibition at Fendika Cultural Center from November 23 to December 12, 2022.
