My subject matter is nature, being a graphics designer and painter has a huge potential for a symbiotic relationship between them. I love to see when the spontaneous dance and movement of the brush as it meets my canvas.
Design in the absence of content is not design, it’s decoration. While Art evokes the mystery without which the world would not exist.
I was born in Eritrea in the eastern part of Africa in 1976. Having grown up both in Eritrea and Ethiopia my love of the to cultures and outdoors grew tremendously. Throughout my life, I have always been fascinated by images and how the world is represented through the eyes of others. Naturally, i was drawn to realistic painting. The interest was cultivated during my teenage years and further developed when i opted to take my Bachelors Degree in Painting.
