Fanuel Leul, is a digital artist situated in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, nestled in the heart of Africa. His artwork beautifully fuses traditional components with futuristic technology, resulting in compositions that are both contrasting and harmonious. Drawing inspiration from Afrofuturism, his distinct personal style showcases themes of upliftment, exuding joy, and serenity. His objective revolves around portraying Africa in a manner that shatters common stereotypes, opting instead to honor its vibrant essence.
Alongside a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Industrial Design and Fine Art from the Alle School of Fine Arts, he attributes a significant portion of his artistic development to his journey as a self-taught creator. Over the last five years, he has wholeheartedly committed himself to honing his abilities and delving into his chosen motifs. His genuine passion lies in reigniting the creative flame within fellow African artists, urging them to impart their unique narratives. Through his creations, his ambition is to empower and inspire a fresh generation of African storytellers, enabling them to reclaim their voices and authentically convey their tales.
