Estifanos Solomon is a visual artist based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, specializing in painting and printmaking. His artistic journey began in elementary school and later led him to formal studies at the Russian Cultural Center and Teferi Mekonen School. He went on to earn a degree in printmaking from Addis Ababa University's Alle School of Fine Art and Design, graduating in 2022.
Deeply influenced by the vibrant life and culture of Addis Ababa, Estifanos explores themes of passion, conflict, and social issues in his work. His art seeks to evoke emotions and provoke reflection, drawing inspiration from personal experiences and societal observations.
Estifanos has participated in several exhibitions, including the group show Impressions of Africa: Basquiat at the Alliance Ethio-Française in Addis Ababa. He also held a solo exhibition titled Oppressed Passions at Artawi Gallery, where he further examined themes of passion and conflict.
