Dariwos Hailemichael

Dariwos Hailemichael is a visual artist born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He holds a BA degree in Marketing Management from Addis Ababa University College of Commerce (2009), and a BFA degree in Sculpture from the Alle School of Fine Arts and Design (2013). His work spans exhibitions and performances, exploring a wide range of experimental and socially engaged practices.
Some of his notable projects include the solo exhibition “Visual Diary” at Alliance Ethio-Française (2019), as well as participation in group exhibitions such as “Manifesto” (2018), “Revision” (2017), and “Woge” (2015). He has also presented public performances, including “moving society” (2015), “Wax and Gold” (2013), and performances at the Addis Art Fair (2014).
