An Ethiopian artist born in 1996 in Hawassa, Sidama, initially studied engineering before pursuing fine arts. He earned his bachelor's degree in figurative printmaking from the Alle School of Fine Arts and Design in 2022.
Bereket's work focuses on urban life and marginalized communities, particularly the homeless. His figurative printmaking captures the raw realities of displacement, memory, and survival, using a blend of realism and abstraction. He describes homeless individuals as "forgotten people" and seeks to evoke empathy and awareness through his art.
